IQVIA is seeking an expert in creating immersive & engaging clinical trial training experiences!

Live events can be engaging, immersive experiences that excite attendees, promote learning, and solve problems. They can also be really boring, dry, full-day, sit in a chair sessions that are ineffective and attendees abhor. Our team works to prevent the latter!

Managers of Meeting Design and Facilitation at IQVIA, have the enjoyable, and always challenging job, of preventing boring meetings and events. We create physical environments that are unexpected, incorporate the latest research on adult learning principles, use technology to inspire and engage, and get our clients and attendees on board with bold ideas.

Reporting to the Director, Meeting Design and Facilitation, you will be fundamental to the successful design and delivery of clinical training events at IQVIA.

IQVIA has a unique events structure. We have an event logistics team that works exclusively on event logistics. That is not this job/team. We also have a meeting design and facilitation division. This job sits in that team. Our team works in three key areas:

1. Designing event agendas and activities to stimulate learning at clinical trial training's.
a. You need to have experience and passion for creating immersive learning experiences at live events.
b. Health care experience is wonderful but not required. Understanding of the compliance constraints within the pharmaceutical industry, and an intellectual curiosity for learning about individual clinical trials is a must.
c. You should also be comfortable getting clients and attendees on board with bold new ideas. You will hold a key role in client liaison and communications as Subject Matter Expert.

2. Assisting with timeline management during the planning period to ensure all        of the “project management” happens.
a. You need to be a skilled multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail.

3. Facilitating events onsite and “producing” clinical trial training's.
a. You need to have onstage meeting facilitation experience for small to medium size meetings. This includes housekeeping, speaker intros, activity transitions, and facilitation/orchestration of workshops.
b. Onsite you are the connection between multiple stakeholders and delivery agents - you should be comfortable leading the group through a successful event.

Further, this team member will work continuously with partners and colleagues all over the world. You will need a strong appreciation for global business and you will continually seek new ways to enhance our global training's - staying in tune to local customs and attendee preferences in various regions.
This position could suit those with experience within CRA, Clinical Project Management or Clinical Lead positions.
This role will require frequent global travel to produce and facilitate events onsite. Travel may be as frequent as two or more weeks per month during peak seasons.
We offer a competitive salary and great benefits, including a profit-related annual bonus, private health insurance and a generous company pension scheme.
